Indigenous Interfaith Procession – Live From Split Rock

Air Date: 22 June, 2024

We gather for an indigenous and interfaith procession to the Ramapo Munsee Lunaape prayer grounds, with healing prayers for the river and an inclusive tobacco ceremony.

We gather on the south side of the small bridge near the Ramapo College in Mahwah at 10 am ET — Indigenous friends and inter-spiritual allies, some carrying flags. As we process over the bridge, we will bless the river with prayers. Continuing the procession to the Sweetwater Prayer Site, we will gather in a circle in a tobacco ceremony with ample opportunity for participants to make their voices heard and prayers sent up “in smoke” to unite humanity and restore Mother Earth.
